At the NEA-AFT Higher Ed Conference

JJ Pionke is at the NEA-AFT Higher Ed Conference 3/23 – 3/28. She’s learning about communication, strategic planning, and the state of unions around the state of Illinois and throughout the country! JJ is also graduating from the Emerging Leaders Academy at this conference, and ELA is a highly competitive academy that has a limited class of 20 people. She learned about leadership, organizing, communication, and planning. She says, “ELA and the conference has given me a LOT of tools and now I want to use them! I want to come back to Harper and see what I can do for our members. I want to get people involved!”
