HCAFA negotiates with representatives of Harper College for every element of our contract. The process is complicated, very detailed, and begins with input from our members as to the elements they like to be pursued. Our current contract expires at the beginning of the 2021-2022 academic year. Both teams — HCAFA and the college administration – have expressed a strong interest in a sense of cooperation in order to ultimately produce a fair contract for both parties.
HCAFA will make every effort to keep our membership informed throughout this process. Since email will be the primary contact means, please insure that we have your most current personal, non-Harper email. Negotiation information as well as other professional information is also available at our Facebook page, HCAFA – Harper College Adjunct Faculty Association. It is a closed group, so just request joining and we will certainly open that to our members.
