Nominations for HCAFA Reps to IEA Region 42

HCAFA is able to have two representatives at the Illinois Education Association Representatives Assembly in March, 2012, which is being held in Chicago.  We need to nominate two of our members for these positions.  Nominations may be electronically sent, but must be made by November 2, 2011.    Please consider being a representative for our organization or nominate someone to be a representative.  If you nominate someone else, please ask them if they would like to be nominated first.  In addition, we are nominating: our Region 42 Vice-Chair, a Minority Representative, and two HCAFA representatives that will represent our group at Region Council meetings.  If you are a member, you will be emailed nomination forms.

The actual vote will be at the HCAFA General Meeting on Friday, November 18 from 2-3 p.m. The meeting will be held at Harper in X-210.

We will also be voting on some revisions to our By-laws at that meeting.  To see what the revisions are, please go to the link “Proposed Changes to Bylaws” in the entry below.  We hope to see you there!  Thank you.

Charmian Tashjian,
President, HCAFA
