October 2011 Harper Adjunct Advocate Will Be in Mailboxes Soon

The October issue of the Harper Adjunct Advocate is coming out early because of the urgency of reminding you to vote on Tuesday, October 4 for the merging of the tiny adjunct librarian/counselor unit with the large adjunct faculty unit.  HCAFA has represented both units since their inception but has not had the possibility of merging the two units until now.  HCAFA and the College have agreed to allow the membership to vote on the merger.  The merger will simplify negotiations and add strength to HCAFA.  We urge you to vote and vote “yes.”
